Terms & Conditions
These terms outline how I work with clients across branding, web design, social media, and content creation. By working with me, you agree to these terms. If anything’s unclear, just ask, I want to make sure we're both on the same page from the start.
1. Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project in my schedule. Work will not begin until the deposit has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The remaining 50% balance is due within 10 days of the final invoice being issued.
Final files and deliverables will not be handed over until the full payment is received unless we’ve agreed something different in writing.
Late payments may result in delayed timelines or incur a late fee.
2. Revisions
Each project includes 2–3 rounds of revisions, as specified in your onboarding document.
A revision round is defined as a set of changes requested at one time. Multiple emails or messages sent separately but referring to the same stage of feedback will be considered part of the same revision round.
Once the included revision rounds are used, any additional changes will be charged at an hourly rate (discussed beforehand so there are no surprises).
Once the work has been signed off and paid for, no further revisions will be made unless additional payment is agreed upon.
3. Scope & Boundaries
Once a project is completed and paid for, I’m not legally or contractually obliged to continue working with the client or offer any unpaid support.
Any new work, add-ons, or changes outside of the original project scope will need to be quoted and agreed upon separately.
4. Timeline & Communication
To keep projects running smoothly, I ask that clients respond within 2–3 business days where possible. Delays in communication may result in rescheduling or pausing your project.
If a client goes silent for 14 days or more without warning, the project may be considered dormant and a rebooking fee may apply to restart.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
The 50% deposit is non-refundable. This secures your spot in my schedule and covers any upfront work and planning.
If you decide to cancel a project after work has begun, any work completed to that point will be billed proportionately.
6. Feedback & Final Sign-Off
When the final work is approved and signed off by you, it confirms that you’re happy with the outcome.
Once payment has been made and the project is closed, you cannot leave a negative review based on preferences or changes not raised during the feedback and revision process.
Honest feedback is always welcome during the project process, I want to get it right!
7. Intellectual Property & Usage
Once full payment is received, the rights to the final designs are transferred to you.
I reserve the right to share the project in my portfolio, social media, and promotional material, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Any unused concepts or draft materials remain the property of the designer and may be repurposed in future projects.
8. Platforms, Logins & Tools
For website or social media projects, I may need access to platforms like Squarespace, Wix, Instagram, Canva, etc.
You agree to provide the relevant access in a timely manner and understand I’m not responsible for any third-party platform issues (downtime, glitches, limitations, etc.).
Any templates or tools provided are for your business only and not to be resold or shared.
9. Subscriptions & Platform Fees
If your project involves platforms like Squarespace, Wix, Canva Pro, Shopify, or other third-party tools, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining your own subscription.
Any monthly or yearly fees associated with these platforms are not included in your project fee and must be paid by you directly to the service provider.
I’m not responsible for billing issues, account cancellations, or access limitations caused by missed payments on these platforms.
Please ensure your subscription remains active during the project period — I can’t work my magic if the platform locks us out!
